Workshop on Adolescence Education District Teacher Education and Research Directorate incollaboration with Tamil Nadu Aids Control Organization conducted a workshop on Adolescence Education for teachers and students from all the schools in the district. Ms Revathi, of the department of life Science and Mr. Suresh of the department of English represented the teachers of Yuvabharathi Public School. The workshop focused on the urgent need for sensitizing the younger generation on life skills such as Empathy, problem solving, interpersonal relationships and so on. The participants were involved in a series of activities related to imparting the students in adolescence the knowledge of life skills which would naturally prepare them for a harmonious and disciplined life.   4. VISIT FROM DIET FOR A SURVEY ON CCE FROM DEC 7TH TO DEC 15TH Click

Dr.Devaraj a senior staff from Government of Tamilnadu (District Institute Of Education and Training DIET) visited our school to observe the teaching methodologies and pattern of evaluation based on CCE. He sat through the primary and secondary teaching session to catch a glimpse of classroom interactions to know more about the CCE pattern. Click

  9. The Cambridge university conducted a workshop at Le Meridian, Coimbatore to enhance leadership qualities. Our faculty Mrs. Latha Ishwar Prasad attended the workshop Mr. John from Ooty was the resource person. Held on DEC 5TH Click

The Overseas Educational Trip to Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, carried out by the Professional Development Wing of the Umar Pulavar Tamil Language Centre of Ministry of Education, Singapore visited us on Dec 8th 2011. The objectives were as follows: a.   to gain a better understanding and insight on the teaching and learning practices of  Tamil Language(TL) in Coimbatore b.   to explore on how the experiences gained can be adapted to their teaching and learning in Singapore c.  to source for appropriate and relevant educational resources for teaching and learning of Tamil Language in Singapore .   13. A team comprising 16 delegates from the Ministry of Education of Singapore visited Yuvabharathi Public School on the 8th of December. The school gave the delegates a red carpet welcome. They were treated to a variety of colourful and impressive programmes which showcased the history and heritage of Tamil language. The delegates also observed the methods and pattern adopted by our teachers in the teaching of Tamil language and literature. Click

  14. Our students wrote the 5TH International MATH Olympiad exam on the 8 th of December. Click

  30. Balasoundarya& Christmas • Gothe Zentrum has honored our student Bala Soundarya of Grade X (winner of the Children’s day painting competition-Christmas in Germany) by printing her painting as their greeting card for the year. Click

  31. Our Principal attended the 18th National annual conference of sahodaya schools @ Chennai Held between Dec 27th to Dec 29th. The conference focused on quality improvement in schools ,bringing connectivism in classroom and harnessing mass media in education. Click
