  3. Introduction • The main objectives of this project was to deliver a fully redesigned website for the Doctorate of Professional Studies (DPS) program in Computing for Pace University

  4. Introduction, cont. Client’s Problems Defined • The Doctor of Professional Studies in Computing (DPS) External Website needed to be redesigned • The existing Web Site has many design flaws, which makes navigation difficult

Project Goals The Functional goals of the project are: • Visitors must have the ability to request a DPS catalog and application via the website. • Visitors must have the ability to complete and submit an online application. • The DPS website must be compatible with the most common web browsers, such as Netscape 4.0 or later and Internet Explorer 4.0 or later, and with all operating systems and platforms on which these browsers reside.

  6. Project Goals, cont. The Usability goals of the project are: • Site must be intuitive and easy to use. • Site must be easy to navigate. • Site must be aesthetically pleasing. • Site must be conform to DPS standards. • Must be representative of the Program it describes.
