前言
  • 為了解決間歇性再生能源電力儲存的問題,最近發展出PHES系統,比起傳統非化學儲能技術Pumped Hydro Stroage(PHS)和Compressed Air Energy Storage(CAES)所需的限制少且可建造於任何地方。然而大型PHES系統還不存在,理論預測也不多,系統的效率是未知的,於是作者制定出簡單的熱力學模型來預測PHES的效率。

  • 概念:電能經由Heat Pump轉換為熱能儲存,熱能經由Heat Engine轉換回電能。
  • 優點:不受地形、位置影響。
  • 目的:解決GWh量級規模儲能問題。

  • 其中PHES利用熱水儲能雖然效率不及PHS(70-80%),但是儲能密度比PHS高出20倍以上。
  • 液態高溫鋁儲能PHES,當 時往返效率超過CAES(50%),當 仍然高於先進絕熱技術CAES。

結論
  • 作者制定了簡單的PHES模型,找到往返效率和溫度的關係,並預測其性能縮放比例。PHES模型雖然缺乏具體測試,但式(2)(3)的預測經的起時間的考驗。
