This program evaluation highlights the successful efforts of IBFAN-EA in Korea from 2006 to 2009, led by Dr. Yoo-Mi Chung, a pediatrician and IBCLC. Key activities include the Enfamil lawsuit, HCP training, textbook revisions, the "One Million Campaign," and the appointment of a Breastfeeding Ambassador. Networking with physicians through the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine Korea and online resources on the bfmed.co.kr website have expanded breastfeeding knowledge and practices. The program also involved workshops, symposiums, translation of WHO booklets, and responses to infant formula contamination. The impact of these initiatives underscores the importance of breastfeeding support in Korea.
