Master Dance Class taught by Katherine Hozier Saturday, December 14, 2013 Beginning and Intermediate Class …..10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Advanced Class…………………......…….1:00 p.m. to3:00 p.m. Katherine Hozier began her dance training at Dancenter in Capitola and continued her dance training at the Joffrey Ballet School in Manhattan. She graduated from Marymount Manhattan College, Dance Department Magna Sum Laude in 2008. She first worked with Jennifer Muller, dancing the lead in Flowers, for the Marymount dance concert series. Katherine has studied with Katie Langan, Virginia Johnson, Denise Vale, and Kristina Berger just to name a few. While at Marymount she performed works by Edwaard Liang, Molissa Fenley, Francisco Martinez, and Pedro Ruiz. She has performed around the tri-state area with The Parker Project. Katherine has also appeared in a variety of commercial work including the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on CBS in 2008, 2009 and 2011, Fashion Cares, America’s Got Talent support corps 2012. First as an apprentice and then as a company member, she has danced with The Works performing solo roles at such venues as the Jerome Robbins Theater, The Javits Center, Bryant Park Festival and in the FENDAFOR 2010 Festival in Fortaleza, Brazil. She worked with the Metropolitan Opera in February 2013 performing in the opera Parsifal. Ms. Hozier has taught at Performing Arts Center of Connecticut. Preregistration recommended $25.00 $30.00 at the door if space allows.
