  1. Space science tcap review Tiffany patterson

  2. Space science • However , part of its orbit brings it closer to the sun than neptune and it is about ass small as the largest asteroid in the solar system . • Ceres pluto is a very cold and dim. It has a moon called charon . Which is almost as big as pluto itself.

  3. Terrestrail planets Terrestail planets are small ,dense and made of rock. Their orbits are close to the sun. the outer planets also known as the gas giants are extremely large, cold and made of gas hydrogon, helim there orbits arre father out and spaced widely apart. Pluto and ceres are called dwarf planets. Pluto was once considerered the farthest planet.

  4. Space science Ceres is another celestrial body that is considerd a dwarf planet. Before the dwarf planet catgory was established it was classififed as the largest known astorid in solar system. A nebula plural = nebulae is a cloud of dust and gas that exists in in space usually between stars.

  5. space science review The earth the sun and the seven other planets that are in orbit around the sun are apart of our solar system A diffuse nebulae is a larger nemula with an irreglar shape.

  6. Atmosphere vocablary Radiation is the movement of energy, such as heat across an open space. Heat move from the sand to the air mainly by radiation. when a gas gets warmer it particles move faster and spread father apart . The air becomes less dense . It becomes lighter . The warm less dense layer of air just above the sand floats up ward

  7. Atmosphere review vocablary • The kind of movement of heat is called canvection. Convection is the movement of heat in a liquid or gas by the way of currents . Canvection is the main way that heat moves through earth’s atmosphere . The movement of air up and down in the atmosphere produces a convection current.

  8. Vocablary review A convection current is the movement of a gas or liquid in a looped path . Local winds are winds that blow over fairly short distances.

  9. See breezes and atmosphere • If you are sitting on the beach during the day you will probably feel cool air following over the land from the ocean . The hot sand will warm this cool ocean air which will rise and make room for more air in off the ocean . This moving air is called a sea breeze is a wind that moves from the sea to the land . The diagram below shows the movement of the sea breeze

  10. Review • At night the air cools the sand and the water . This is because water holds heat longer then land . This makes air warmer than air over the land .so the air over the water rises . The cooler denser air over the land moves out over the ocean to replace the warm Air that has risen . This movement of air is called a land breeze is a wind that moves from the land to the sea .

  11. Review • Moveingair is wind .convection is in the atmosphere causes all earths wind and weather . You will learn more about weather .convection currents can produce winds that blow across thousands of kilometers of the earths surface.
