Look at these words: a camera, a passport, a ticket, a towel, a book, a radio, a suitcase, warm clothes, an umbrella, a basket, a tent, a map, money, a telephone, a cup, a pet, a ball, a table, a pen, a chair, a box, a lamp, a carpet, a toy, a rabbit.

  3. Some of them are necessary. Some of them are sometimes necessary. And some of them are not necessary. • Work in groups. • 1) Find and choose necessary things. • 2) Find and choose sometimes necessary things. • 3) Find and choose not necessary things.

  4. Ukraine is a sovereign state. It has it’s own territory, government, national emblem, anthem and state flag. Україна суверенна країна. Вона має власну територію., уряд, герб, гімн та державний прапор.

  5. Ukraine is situated in the centre of Europe. The population is more than 39 million. It borders on Poland, Hungary, Moldavia, Russia, Belorussia, and others. There are 24 regions and Crimea Autonomic Republic in Ukraine. Україна розташована в центрі Європи. Населення складає більше ніж 39 мільйонів. Вона межує з Польщею, Угорщиною, Молдавією. Росією, Білорусією та іншими. В Україні налічують 24 області та Автономну Республіку Крим.

  6. Ukraine is washed by the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov. There are the Carpathian Mountains and the Crimean Mountains in Ukraine. The main river is Dnieper. Україна омивається чорним та азовським морями. В Україні є Карпатські та Кримські гори. Головна річка – Дніпро.

Київ був названий в честь найстаршого брата Кия. Головна вулиця столиці - Хрещатик.
