Status report 11/29/04 (see also transparencies by Russ Rucinski on the solenoid status). M.Weber, FNAL. Ground isolation. On Tuesday we powered down the detector and electronics in order to disconnect the safety ground (we had indications that there was a grounding violation).

Ground isolation • On Tuesday we powered down the detector and electronics in order to disconnect the safety ground (we had indications that there was a grounding violation). • Found that the resistance was 5 Ohm • After removing some cables, which we found to be shorting the grounds, the resistance went up to 5 kOhm • Wednesday spent in turning the detector on again. • We still see some effect from welding in the form of noise in the calorimeter: further investigating AEM Dzero, M.Weber

  3. Status • We have switched to the new online system(major issues fixed last week, minor fixes underway) • S&S since Wednesday evening • All the readout crates are running in a DAQ exercising mode • Spoke election polls close today 2400 • Solenoid -> see transparencies by Russ R.
