Sukhad Yatra - A Mobile Application for the Pleasant Journey on Highways

Sukhad Yatra, a mobile application developed by National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) was launched by the Minister of Road transport and highways Mr. Nitin Gadkari recently. The move will empower commuters and alongside a toll-free number is also launched i.e., 1033, which will double the safety of the highway travelers.

Sukhad Yatra - A Mobile Application for the Pleasant Journey on Highways Union minister for road transport & Highways, shipping, water resources, river development and Ganga Rejuvenation Shri Nitin Gadkari had launched ‘Sukhad Yatra’ – a new mobile application for the pleasant highway journey. Since its launch on 7th of March 2018, 40,000 new users have been added and ratings have increased from 3.5 to 4.0 and there are 250 users adding every hour. This app gives you the authority to comment, complain and share the good – bad experience and help the road ministry improve public services on national highways says, Honorable Minister of Road Transport and Highways Shri Nitin Gadkari. Important features of Sukhad Yatra mobile app: • Complain about theFASTag facility. • Complain against toll plaza management. • Potholes and other maintenance issues. • Safety hazard during road construction along highways across India. • Poor workmanship of construction. • Online recharge FASTag cards. • Locating point of interests including restaurants, petrol pumps on highways and restrooms. • Report accident • Real-time data of toll plaza-know waiting time at the toll plaza • This app is available both on iOS and Google play store and is free to download. This public friendly app ‘Sukhad Yatra’ provides easy, safer and speedy driving experience for the national highway commuters. In specific, daily highway commuters are suggested to make use of this user-friendly application for a pleasant journey. The project and the execution system of ‘Sukhad Yatra’ app are taken care by the Indian Highway Management Company Ltd (IHMCL), a firm promoted by National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
