  2. Mission Statement • We at Modern Design Co. exist to provide students and teachers with the best learning experience possible. We accomplish this through our interior classroom designs that focus on the way in which interaction happens as well as in how the space itself is perceived.

  5. Design Reasoning • We believe that creating learning spaces that are calming and open provide students with the highest levels of comfort within the classroom • When students are more comfortable, they are less stressed, which in turn allows them to be in the best mindsets for learning

Learning Space Design • The room will have a perimeter of wall mounted countertops that students will use as desks and will be sitting on swivel stools • At the center of the room there will be a set of 5 coffee shop chairs along with a convertible coffee table for small group work and differentiation in seating

  8. Chairs • 5 Coffee Shop Chairs for Center of the Room Station • 30 Swivel Stools around the room • 35 Seats total

  9. Desks • Center of the room will have coffee table that can convert into multiple writing surfaces • Will be surrounded by coffee shop chairs for small discussion and work space

  10. Desks Continued • The perimeter of the room will have foldable countertops that the swivel stools will be used for. • This allows for the best use of space as well as each student having writing space to utilize.
