  1. Pedagogical uses of technology and illustrations of different learning theories.

  2. Modern Construtivism - student thought valued - cooperative learning - teachers as mediators / facilitators / orchestrators between the environment, content and student

  3. Activity 1 Complete the following sentences. Using your watch, take note of how many seconds it took you to complete the sentence. When it rains, ............................... Time:..................... A picture paints .......................................... Time:.....................

  4. For the next sentences, you will have to “break away”, that is, not complete them as you’ve always heard them traditionally, but in a way that makes no sense. An apple a day.............................. Time:..................... Put your best .............................. Time:.....................

  5. Activity 2 Now you will write any sentence that comes to mind, not necessarily an idiom as before. Simply write a sentence that makes sense and comes to mind now, this very instant. Sentence .................................. Time:.....................

  6. In this next sentence, you will once again “break away”, that is, write a sentence that makes no sense at all. All words must exist, but the sentence should have no real meaning. Sentence................................... Time:.....................

  7. Creativity is at the origin of innovation in the most valuable fields of human knowledge.

  8. THE BIRTH OF A PARADIGM A group of scientists put five monkeys in a cage, in the middle of which they put a ladder, and above it, bananas dangling from the ceiling. When a monkey went up the ladder to reach for the bananas, the scientists threw cold water on the monkeys that were on the floor. After some time, when a monkey started to try to go up the ladder, the others beat him up. After a while, no monkey tried to go up the ladder, even with the bananas there tempting them. Then the scientists substituted one of the five monkeys. The first thing it did was to try to go up the ladder, being quickly snatched by the other monkeys and beaten. After some more beatings, the newcomer did not try to go up the ladder again.

  9. A second monkey was substituted, and the same thing happened. The first substitute participated in the beating of the newcomer with as much enthusiasm as the others. A third one was substituted, and the same thing happened. The fourth and, finally, the last veterans were substituted. The scientists now had a group of five monkeys which, even though they had never taken a cold shower, continued to beat up any one who tried to reach for the bananas. If it were possible to ask any of them why they hit those who tried to go up the ladder, the answer would probably be: “I don’t know, things have always been like this around here..."“IT IS EASIER TO DESINTEGRATE AN ATOM THAN IT IS TO CHANGE PREJUDICE".
