The Geography and Science Departments collaborated on action research focused on improving questioning techniques in the classroom. The findings were shared in an Assessment for Learning (AfL) workshop, showcasing effective strategies. The Heads of Geography and Science discussed their insights and filmed a lesson emphasizing questioning methods. The team, which included two additional Science members, analyzed classroom videos within a cross-departmental group. Their findings were presented during a whole-school professional development session, and triads were formed for further exploration of these techniques.
