    15. At the beginning of each session, clarify why you want to involve the pupils, and why they should involve each-other. Ask them to: 1 ..consider what you are trying to achieve at the end of the lesson/project/sequence of lessons, and why this may be best done with others. 2 ..list people who will have to be involved, both within their class and within the school community 3 ..decide the part they may be expected to play in a participation process: Someone who controls resources? A go-between? Someone who will initiate, plan or manage the process? Someone using participation techniques – a facilitator or reflector
