  8. New Tier 1 Database - Status • Contract was awarded in October 2009 to a contractor to upgrade the Maximo system to the next version. • The upgrade was scheduled for completion by the end of May 2010, but has been significantly delayed. • QA testing is to begin January 2011. • ITD is awaiting a  quote from IBM for consultant to develop Tier 1 application – due w/o 1/10/11. • ITD management is directly involved to remedy the upgrade schedule performance issue. • Delay in the upgrade has necessarily delayed the completion date for the Tier 1 database from 4/1 to 9/1.
