Introduction:

  • Arabic ranks sixth in the world legal table of languages. With estimation of 186 million native speakers.

  • It is the language of the Quran, the holy book of Islam.

  • It is also widely used throughout the Muslim world.

Classical Arabic:

The language of the Quran.

Modern standard Arabic:

Used in books, newspapers, on television and radio, in the mosques, and in conversation between educated Arabs from different countries.

Local dialects:

Moroccan might have difficulty understanding an Iraqi.

Is Arabic difficult?

yes and no.

Learning it will take time and practice.

there aren't many irregularities in the grammar.

Its much less complicated than Latin.

probably simpler than German too.

In Arabic there is 3 types of verbs we use

Mofrad(مفرد) which means single and there is single masculine and single feminine.

Mothnaمثنى which means to things also there is masculine and feminine.

Jamaa جمع which means plural and there is masculine plural and feminine plural.
