Revise • Forbidden words : stuff, very, really, a lot, so, like, but, then, great • To-be verbs: is, am ,are, was, were, be, been, being • Change to Vivid Verbs • Need to add: • - Imagery (more than just sight) • - Figurative Language • - Facial Expressions • - Gestures / Body Language • - Mood (emotions) • Limit Dialogue (2-3 lines to prove a point) • Introduction (is it a hook) • Sentence Beginnings • Conclusion (lesson or how you changed) • 6. Edit (read backwards) • Complete sentences • Spelling • Punctuation • 7. Final Copy
