How To: Make a Wikispace

This guide will walk you through the steps to create your own Wikispace, whether you're starting from scratch or already have an account. First, head to wikispaces.com and log in with your username, password, and email. If you’re new, follow the confirmation email to activate your account. Once logged in, create a new wiki by choosing a name and setting it as “Protected” for personal use. After setup, you can edit your page, add media, and customize the look of your wiki under the “Manage Wiki” section. Get started on your digital space today!

  2. I already have a wikispace I do not have a wikispace

  3. First go to wikispaces.com Then in the right ( ) it will say “Welcome” Type in your “User Name”, “Password”, & “Email” You will then receive a confirmation email Then follow the link provided When you are ready to move on Click Here I do not have a wikispace

  4. First; login Then in the top right corner click “Create a new Wiki” Then give your wiki a name (this will be added to “.wikispaces.com”) Then select “Protected” & “what type of wiki” (select “Personal”) When you are ready to move on Click Here I have a wikispace

  5. Now that you have a wikispace, you can now edit your page to your likings First click “Edit” in the top right corner From there you can edit text, insert YouTube videos, pictures, and other links When you are ready to move on Click Here Designing

  6. Now you can change the color of your wiki Click on the “Manage Wiki” link on left Then under the “Settings” category click on “Look and Feel” Here you can change every color of your wiki and the layout of it When your ready to move on Click Here Designing (cont.)

  7. Then in the top right corner click “Create a new Wiki” Then give your wiki a name (this will be added to “.wikispaces.com”) Then select “Protected” & “what type of wiki” (select “Personal”) When you are ready to move on Click Here I do not have a wikispace(cont.)

  8. You have just built your own Wiki Congratulations!
