  1. Cell Phone Usage Survey Hypothesis: The younger the person surveyed, the more likely that they are dependent on their cell phone.

  2. Questions • 1. I have my cell phone on my person at all times. • 2. I panic if my cell phone is lost/broken. • 3. Along with social usage, I also use my cell phone for work/school purposes. • 4. I no longer pay for a landline. • 5. I use my cell phone for entertainment (gaming, reading, movies).

  3. Age Groups Surveyed • Ages 15-25 (5 participants) • Ages 25-40 (5 participants) • Ages 40-60 (5 participants) • Age 60+ (4 participants) Total number of participants = 20

  5. Conclusion • It was clear, after inputting the results of my survey, that my hypothesis stood up to the test. For the most part, the younger groups were clearly more dependent on their cell phones than the older age groups surveyed.
