Utah Smart Site Team • Selected locally and might include… • Local economic development staff • Elected officials • Public and private technology training partners • High-speed internet service providers • Department of Workforce Services • Small Business Development Center • Technology-based Business Partners

  4. Utah Smart Site Workers • At least ten workers • Basic technology training in the Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Works, PowerPoint, Excel and Access) • Soft skill training such as customer service and work habits • Basic Internet navigation • Additional training tailored to the needs of the business locating in the Smart Site

  5. Utah Smart Site Facility • Space for sale or lease with room for at least ten Smart Site workers • Publicly or privately owned • Served with high speed Internet access; typically T-1 or greater • Work stations and computer equipment • Strategy must be in place to deliver these components within sixty days of a business’ decision to locate
