RPC Technical Trigger Status • Installation of RBC boards on the detector towers: done • Cabling of negative wheels: cables ready, need to be installed • Installation of TTU boards in USC55: 1 out of 3 (can cover up to 2 wheels) • The installation will be completed as soon as full production of Trigger Boards (Warsaw) will be delivered • Received from K.P. firmware for TTU Backplane  develop our part of fw to collect 5 wheel-level trigger and produce 1 Technical Trigger signal • ↓ • Complete the chain F. Loddo Bari RPC Meeting March. 2008

Test to validate the implemented algorithm • At sector level: done last week with diagnostic Readout (from TB) • Tower level: tomorrow we try to use minidaq and TTU on W+1 (sect. 2-3-10-11) Unfortunately not full tower… • Wheel level (when ?) • Study the timing calibration for cosmic muons • xcheck with DT trigger • coupling with Global Trigger • Provide Trigger for May Global Run and CMS startup, as requested by Joao and Wesley  Mission: Impossible ??? Develop TTU Emulator (who?) Analyze Tracker Alignment “wishes” F. Loddo Bari RPC Meeting March. 2008
