  1. TRAVELING WITH YOUR PET Traveling anywhere by aircraft or car for a dog owner once meant a painful farewell, but thanks to a surge in the number of pet-friendly hotels, resorts and airlines, more people are taking their best friend with them when they fly. But cases involving Accients and confusion when transporting pet animals have raised questions over the best way to fly with a pet -- and whether animals should travel at all. Here are the tips you must follow while travelling with your pet. What to Pack Whether you’re going abroad or staying relatively close to home, packing stuffs for your pet is completely different than packing for you. Bring extra foods, toys, a blanket that reminds them of home, and a water bowl for on the fly hydration. On a Plane Avoid giving your pet medication to calm down, especially if they’re flying in cargo. these drugs can interfere with your pet’s critical ability to regulate their body heat. By ship With the exception of assistance pets are welcome on only a few cruise lines and usually on ocean crossings only. Most of the lines permit pets in private cabins. Contact your cruise line earlier to find out its policies and which of its ships have kennel facilities. In the Car If you’re planning a long drive in the car, spend a few days getting your pet used to being in the car. For instance, you can take them to a nearby park in the car for few times to create a positive association. Kinds of pets If your pet is not a dog or cat, there may be different procedure for travelling. Some animals, such as primates (monkeys and apes) will not be allowed back into the most of the countries. Even if they originally came from that particular city, they cannot be brought back to that place as pets. Consider Your Pet’s Comfort Loading and unloading can be the most stressful part of travel for the pets. Get your pet used to its carrier before the journey. Make your pet walk before leaving home and again before checking in. If your pet is allowed in the cabin in the aircraft, check in as late as possible to reduce stress. Think of Different Options Make sure your favourite pet is healthy enough to travel by flight/ship. If you have any doubts on the health, consider leaving your pet with a trusted friend, family member during your trip, or taking another mode of transportation.

  2. Illness or Death of a Pet During Travel Despite of all precautions, most of the pets sometimes get sick or even die on an aircraft. The officials are required to find that the pet didn’t die of a disease that can spread to passengers. They may have to do an animal autopsy test, to figure out the cause of death. The pet cannot be returned to you after this testing. Before Your Trip Register your dog with your flight if it is flying, Also make sure to check on carrier dimensions and have as much identifying information as possible on both carrier and collar— including your home and destination addresses. Keeping your pet relaxed and healthy while traveling requires lot of planning and preparation, but it is well worth the time. You will both enjoy the journey more and arrive ready to go!
