  14. Extremadamente rara y oportunísima fotografía. Es que a este pájaro se lo creyó extinto durante mucho tiempo, afortunadamente aún vive en Patagonia. Lo dije antes, pero me encantó la noticia. P h y t o t o m a Y repito la imagen obvio. Bánquensela, che.

  15. P i c a f l o r Acá se les llama así, en otros lugares Colibrí; pero siempre es el mismo y espectacular pajarillo. Afortunadamente, me visitan con frecuencia en el jardín del patio de mi casa, y como saben que nunca les haría daño, permiten que me acerque a un metro de ellos, y a veces menor distancia.

  39. En esta zona, a esta ave se la conoce como Urraca; probablemente por una confusión ó porque ése pájaro azulado llamado Urraca (que veremos más adelante) no frecuenta estos lares. P i r i n c h o Recuerdo que de niño he cazado a estos “Pirinchos”, que por lo general no tocábamos porque estaban repletos de piojos. También cantábamos una estrofita cuando los veíamos: “Urraca, fiera (fea) y flaca; Urraca, fiera (fea) y flaca”. Sin duda tonterías de niños, porque las aves no se daban por enteradas.
