This report reviews Lesotho's progress towards COP-12 targets from October 2011 to September 2012, highlighting achievements and challenges.   2. Methods: Measurement period and data sources • Targets • Period: October 2011-September 2012 (annual) • Data sources: COP, SAPR • Achievements • Period: October 2011-June 2012 (goal: 75% of target met) • Data source: Q3 update of SAPR

Methods: Indicators • Selected 12 NGI indicators included in COP in most countries (Lesotho reports 2/12 indicators) • Span multiple programmatic areas • 11 indicators have numeric targets (e.g. # of pregnant women with known HIV status in PMTCT setting) • Calculate % target achieved • Numerator=Achievement / Denominator=Target • 1 indicator has % target (i.e. % of ART patients known to be alive and on treatment at 12 months) • Assess whether target exceeded, achieved or not achieved • Compare % retained in last reporting quarter to target
