Indiana Mental Health Memorial Foundation Mission: To ensure the fiscal health and growth of Mental Health America of Indiana. • Roles: • Provides financial services such as accounting and fiscal oversight • Provides fund development services and special event planning • Provides fiscal analysis and research for MHAI legislative agenda items

Indiana Addiction Issues Coalition (IAIC) • Mission:To educate and influence organizations, • communities, and individuals to effectively address • issues of addictions in Indiana • Indiana Coalition to Reduce Underage Drinking(ICRUD) • Mission:To change policies that govern the way • that alcohol is marketed to, sold to, and bought • by youth by mobilizing communities to change policies Addiction Issues

Indiana Counselors Association on Alcohol & Drug Abuse (ICAADA) Mission:To advance the field of alcohol and other drug abuse and co-occurring disorders prevention and treatment through provision of addiction counselor testing, credentialing and training programs and advocacy and membership services of the highest quality Emberwood Center Mission:EmberWood Center promotes growth, respect and integrity through community- based services to address the cycle of addiction with individuals and families. Mission:To provide role models for other teens, to introduce individual commitment to community service, to disseminate information about mental illness and treatment and to develop future adults and community leaders free of the stigma associated with mental illness Junior Mental Health Association

Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance, Indiana Mission:To educate patients, families, professional and the public concerning the nature of depressive and manic-depressive illness as a medical disease; to foster self-help for patients and families; to eliminate discrimination and stigma; to improve access to care; and to advocate for research toward the elimination of these illnesses

Indiana Mental Health and Aging Coalition Mission:To enhance the mental health of older adults in Indiana through public education, training and advocacy by improving access to mental health services, reducing stigma of mental health and aging, increasing the quality of programs and services, and providing a forum of cooperation and collaboration for the aging and mental health networks

  18. Community Connections Mission:Create and link people with opportunities within their community through a broad spectrum of vocational services, addressing the preferences and interests of our customers

  19. Center of Excellence for Workforce Development Mission:to assist people with disabilities to find meaningful work and stay employed. By partnering with key employers across the state, we are able to facilitate meaningful job matches, provide training to both employers and employees, and ensure success in the workplace.

MHAI  Legal Services Mental Health America has a legal service center to works with clients to make sure that they get the representation they need and gain access to services required to protect their rights. Mission Statement To achieve justice for and defend the rights of individuals with disabilities through legal advocacy and representation. Eligibility Criteria An individual is eligible for services from MHAI Legal Services if the individual has a disability (including individuals with mental illness, developmental disabilities, physical disabilities and individuals in recovery) and the legal issue is related to or significantly impacted by the disability. An individual’s income is not a factor in determining eligibility.

Ombudsman Programs • Indiana Public Health and Assistance Ombudsman – a program to help people use public health and assistance programs across Indiana. • Contact Information: Phone: 1-877-246-3243 (1-877-2-IND-AID) • Indiana Mental Health and Addiction Ombudsman– a program to help people who use the mental health and addiction services system throughout Indiana. Contact Information: Phone: 1-800-555-MHAI (1-800-555-6424) • Managed Health Care Ombudsman Program– This program is designed to assist MHS members in finding effective ways to resolve concerns or complaints about the benefits and services provided under their MHS coverage plan. The program provides support to members and their families or representatives and work with MHS and providers to solve problems and misunderstandings and create responses based on an individual’s needs.Contact Information: Phone: 1-877-647-5326
