SCAVENGER HUNT • HAVE THE KIDS SPLIT UP INTO GROUPS OF THREE OF FOUR • EACH GROUP WITH HAVE A BOOK THEY MUST READ ALOUD WITHIN THEIR GROUP • GROUPS WILL HAVE A LIST OF THE EIGHT PARTS OF SPEECH • AFTER READING THE STORY THEY WILL BE ASKED TO GO BACK THROUGH AND FIND AS MANY EXAMPLES OF EACH PART OF SPEECH THEY CAN • THEY ARE TO WRITE THE EXAMPLE ON A POSTER BOARD
