  10. Geography Antarctica Captain Scott’s hut has remained untouched (apart from the odd passing explorer) for almost 100 years. It has effectively been ‘frozen in time’

Your task is to write a diary entry for each of the following dates: 4th June 1910: When the team set off from Cardiff 10th January 1912: When the team were travelling through Antarctica 17th January 1912: The day they arrived at the South Pole 27-29th March 1912: The final days before death What are the success criteria? (i.e. What makes a good diary entry?) In pairs discuss what a good diary entry should look and read like.
