  2. Email answers by 6pm today • At www.RCSB.org, find PDB ID “1trz”. List: Name of Molecule, Experimental Method, Resolution, and GO Molecular Function. • Use Jmol to view the molecule. How many distinct non-overlapping domains do you see? Name one secondary structure motif you see. • How many chains (polymers) are in the molecule? How many amino acid residues are in each chain? What is the most common secondary structure? What is the second most common secondary structure? • What is the SCOP lineage for this molecule? How many PDB Entry Domains are listed for this molecule? What ions is 1trz complexed with? • Search for this molecule in MMDB. What is its MMDB ID? Is there a VAST entry for this protein? • Find “insulin receptor” in MMDB (MMDB ID 41104). View VAST Related Structures for the entire chain. What are the two highest-ranking related structures? What are their PDB IDs?
