  1. PHENIX Status, 1/25/11 Takao Sakaguchi • Succeeded to fix west half of VTX strip-pixel detector in the last access • Thank you for providing us ~10 hours on the last maintenance day • Another half will be treated next week. • Heater in gas mixing house is not completely fixed yet. Only temporary heater is installed • On chilling days, we still have problem in gas mixing. Need help. • Also, the gas flow level should be adjusted in the access tomorrow • Most of subsystems got timed in last night • Detail timing scan is on-going for newly installed detector (Muon trigger, then RPC) • ZDC HV in final tuning • We would still like to make maximum use of access opportunities for tune-up • Including tunnel access.

  2. Beam-Beam Counter sees beam 4:47am, Jan 25 • Thanks to beautiful and stable beam North BBC timing (ns) South BBC timing (ns)

  3. Muon Arm sees beam • Left: Signals for single strips and adjacent group of strips (clusters). • Right: Amp. vs Time. Blue is for stereo, Green for non-stereo planes.
