  2. Offer a platform for exchange of good practices between actors of labour market and employment. Support the knowledge transfer and the building of capacity between employment services. Involve actively in topics of employment, like job creation in recovery, partnerships, skills mobility, and alternative ways of work. . WAPES Objectives

How are labour markets going to adjust to a greener economy? • Additional jobs will be created • Some employment will be substituted • Certain jobs will be eliminated without replacement • Many existing jobs will simply be transformed or migrated Most intense green jobs are in the building refurbishment, wind & solar, smart metering

  4. What are indicators for green employment? • Sector/Output • Production Method • Green Awareness • Skills required • Job Decency • Workload

Which are the challenges for public employment services in green economy? • Transparency about labour market and employment effects of green economy • Understand green jobs as a cross-cutting label • Support entrepeneurial spirit • Stregthen training for transformation and migration of skills • Support the protection of workers rights Necessary policy coherence between employers, environmental protection, and labour ministry
