Why? • What do you get when you cross a skin doctor and an elephant? • Katzenjammer – literally, a cat’s howling. Also a synonym for a hangover. Goals –View Ophelia’ insanity. Discuss the implications of Ophelia’s words and their effect on the king and queen. Homework – none.

How? • How can you tell an English teacher has been using the computer? • Tacnuk – tactical nuclear weapon. Goals – Read the Marxist Critical approach.Discuss the schemes of Claudius and Laertes. Do # 6 from the handout. Homework – none.

Goals – Do an analysis of Hamlet – the character – using the Psychoanalytical approach. Select quotes from the article and write a response to the article. Homework – None.

How can I help you be successful? • What did the rug say to the floor? • Bicipital – having two heads. Goals – Answer questions about the summative assessment for Hamlet. Begin the “Screen play.” Homework – None.

Senior English 3/21/14 • Five minutes to study for vocabulary #25. • What is the difference between a dead dog in the road and a dead English teacher in the road? • Sciamachy – fighting an imaginary enemy; combat with shadow. Goals –Successfully complete vocabulary #25. Work on screen play. Homework – None.
