  1. Senior English 10/14/13 • Five minutes to prepare for Vocab. 6 quiz. • What kind of bugs do knights fight? • Misandry – Female hatred of males. The female equivalent of misogyny. Goals – Complete week 6 vocab. Understand why you should care about this assignment. Homework – Find an article about a current event that interests you. Bring it to class tomorrow. Perhaps something that will also work in Mr. Nickelson’s class? Don’t forget the Vocab Quiz 7 Friday.

Senior English 10/15/13 • In what ways could reading current events or NEWS help you understand the real world? • What runs around the cow pasture but never moves? • Misogyny – Male hatred of females. Goals – Check Dailies. Analyze articles by evaluating claims. Notes on “grounds of warrants.” Homework – Find an article about a current event that interests you. Bring it to class tomorrow. Perhaps something that will also work in Mr. Nickelson’s class?

How do you overcome those difficulties? • How much do pirates pay for their earrings? • Marcidity – To be extremely skinny. The opposite of obesity. Goals – Analyze articles by evaluating claims. Notes on “grounds.” Homework – Find an article about a current event that interests you. Bring it to class tomorrow. Perhaps something that will also work in Mr. Nickelson’s class?

Positive opposite of disgruntle. Goals – Analyze articles. Discussion of new information. Share with French students? Homework – Print another article to bring to class tomorrow.

To the devil what an atheist is to God. Goals – Complete vocab. 7 study. Discuss latest articles. Take polls. Homework – Print another article of interest. Choose article to share with French students.
