  1. Code Enforcement Board Presentation to the Board of County Commissioners March 10, 2015

Code Enforcement Board • Has jurisdiction to hear and decide alleged violations of the codes and ordinances in force in the county • Has the authority to levy fines against those persons found in non-compliance of county codes • Subject to the inclusion of those professional specialties, each district of the county shall be represented by at least one member. Currently, District 1 is not represented on the board • Meets third Wednesday of each month at 9:00 a.m. • Financial Disclosure Required

Code Enforcement Board • Seven members appointed on the basis of experience or interest in the fields of zoning and building control • Shall include, whenever possible: • An architect • A business person • An engineer/surveyor • A general contractor • A subcontractor • A licensed real estate broker or licensed real estate salesman • Terms of three members, Lyndell Mims, Richard Furman, and Jose Rivas, Jr. have expired

  4. Code Enforcement Board • ACTION REQUESTED: Reappointment of Lyndell Mims, Richard Furman, and Jose Rivas, Jr. to the Code Enforcement Board with terms expiring December 31, 2017 or appointment of individuals to succeed them.
