  1. Use Marketing To Improve Your Fourth Quarter & Beyond

  2. The fourth quarter of the year is typically the period that encompasses the last few months, from October through December. • While this is a time of year that many people are preparing for the holidays and the coming year, in business it’s the final push to finish out the year on a high note with the best marketing and sales.

  3. They’re focused on family, holidays, vacations and spending time with their friends. • However, that means you have fewer hours to actually get things done that need to be done. • Not to mention, even if you’re working, your clients might not be, which makes it harder to get things done for them. A lot of people start spending this time away from the office

  4. The first thing you need to think about is what you’re really looking for. What do you want to get out of this final push? • What are you hoping to have there to greet you when the new year comes around? Step One: What Do You Want?

  5. Look at the type of social media management service that you want to be engaged in and what the ideal look of your business would be. • Write all of these things down in a place where you can easily see them and refer back to them.

  7. There are a lot of things going on in the fourth quarter and no matter how focused you are (or think you are) on work, there are going to be other things that pop up. • After all, this is the busiest time of year for most individuals on a personal and professional level. Step Two: Schedule it Out

  8. S= Specific. Your goal needs to spell out exactly what you’re looking to achieve. • M= Measurable. Your goal needs to be something that you can look at and know that you’ve achieved it or not. • A= Actionable. Your goal needs to be something that you can start working on right now. • R= Realistic. It’s easy to set pie-in-the-sky dreams and goals that you’d like to achieve but you can’t. • T- Timebound. If you don’t have a time limit on your goal it’s not a goal. It’s a wish. Step 3: Set SMART Goals

  9. Finally, you need to start planning out the steps that you’re going to take to get from where you are now to achieving each of those goals by the end of the year. • What do you need to do each month? How about each week? What about each day? Step Four: Plan It
