The Use Mobile Technology In UBD Library Services

Since its introduction in 2008, the mobile technology application for UBD Library Services has effectively integrated .NET platform features and a Telephonic API. It enhances user engagement by providing recall and renewal notices, general messages, and a platform for receiving and replying to inquiries. Despite challenges such as integration lapses and user reluctance in sharing contact numbers, ongoing initiatives like E-library 2 and the exploration of iPads for resource access aim to improve service delivery and user experience.
