  16. Standard Operating Procedure: Your responsibility as team leader • Sign in for your phone • Ensure Flight Mode is switched on • Make sure you know who has a spare phone in case you run out of battery • Conduct your household interviews and your individual questionnaires • Ensure that you or your assistant are cross-checking especially the numbers/measurements entered • Hand the phone back to the supervisor in the evening

  19. Some tips… The Android is switching to landscape or portrait format, depending on how you hold it, if you are not typing on the keyboard and just choosing options, it might be good to close the keyboard since you will not have to scroll as much. Always check that you have seen all options, e.g. always scroll down to the bottom

  20. Some tips… Always have a few paper questionnaires around just in case the electronic form crashes. When accidently moving away from the form? Just go back, the application will resume from the point you left it; if you hit return by accident, it will ask you whether you want to leave the application. Make sure you save before you do so. What to do when the form crashes? Turn the mobile off and back on again. Verify that your data has been saved. Give the phone enough time to boot up and wait until the SD card has been scanned
