  2. Revegetation • Reclamation trials will be conducted during operation • Plan is to concentrate on flat areas with mesic soils • Most effort will be put on PKCA based on EKATI™ experience • Significant areas of rocky tundra at Jericho

Revegetation • EIS based on 30 years published research • More details on EKATI™ experience added • Conclusions unchanged: it’s difficult or nearly impossible to establish vegetation in the tundra • In the absence of guidance from land owners regarding agronomics use, rip rap is the only alternative for short-term erosion control

  4. Summary • Obstacles to revegetating mine sites in the Arctic are very large • Tahera is committed to explore practical approaches to achieving long-term revegetation success at the mine site
