For example, George Brown’s Fashion Techniques Course requires a sewing test on an industrial machine
Some schools require testing to ensure that students have the required skills to be successful in their program of choice.
Other programs that are “highly competitive” will require testing as a way of "ranking" and may be used to make admission decisions
There is a fee for most pre-admissions testing and depends on the school.

February 1st, 2013 – Application deadline & earliest release of offers by the colleges to all applicants
May 1st, 2013 – applicants must confirm their acceptance of their offer by this date.
June 17th, 2013 – earliest date that applicants will be required to pay tuition fees
