When Abraham Lincoln became president the south part of the USA became mad they liked having slaves do there things for them and were frightened that he would take away slavery so they left the country and made there own country. Also, civil right caused the civil war. Civil right are when each country wants to make there own laws but their not aloud to break the ones made by the federal law. It wouldn’t let them have civil rights. Causes of the civil war

  3. The south were big fans of slavery, and they thought that Abraham Lincoln was going to end it. Though after Lincoln made his speech(Emancipation Proclamation) they were sure of it; so they left the country. Slavery

  4. The underground railroad would help fugitives escape slavery. The people who were forced to be slaves found shelter and secret rotes to Canada and Mexico without being. The underground railroad helped many people. Underground Railroad

  5. The fugitive slave act is when some slave becomes a slave then they go off to the Union (or the north part of United states of America) and get freed by Lincoln, but the slaves masters say even though your in the free country your still a slave. fugitive slave act
