  3. Data Quality Due date when assessment data is available to districts. During the auditing window districts can submit changes to the data (at least two weeks). Districts are encouraged to use the validation and verification reports in the portal to audit their data. After auditing window, the data is considered final and ready for official use.

  4. Data Uploads to DRC Provide updated student data to NSSRS for writing upload to DRC – December 2, 2013 Data for writing assessment uploaded to DRC on December 5, 2013 Provide updated student data to NSSRS for reading, math, and science (RMS) upload to DRC – January 31, 2014 Data for RMS assessments uploaded to DRC on February 3, 2014 Alternate Flag in Special Education Template needs to be updated as well.

  5. Comparability Site (SOSR) Compare tool on the State of the Schools Report allows you to select between 2 and 7 districts or schools to compare. The selected schools/districts can be compared for characteristics, NePAS, NeSA, and AYP. Characteristics – poverty %, ELL %, SPED %, Mobility %, Grad %, Membership, Highly Mobile % NePAS – Status, Improvement, and Growthfor all three levels NeSA – Percent Proficient – by subgroup, by grade, by subject AYP – Met or Not Met – by school level, by reading and math.

  6. Audit NeSA Assessment Data • Available through the Portal, districts will be able to audit assessment the following assessment data for district/school: • Average scale score by subgroup, by subject, and by grade. • Performance Level – percent below, meets, and exceeds by subgroup, by subject, and by grade. • Student scale scores, performance level, and reason not tested. • Shows both NeSA General and Alternate results
