  13. IS Participation Agreement The participation agreement must be signed before you log into IS for the first time – even to set up your profile information or to use sandbox Relatively concise agreement. Will reference the rules in the Revenue Accounting Manual and supplement with sections such as: Prices & Charging Data Confidentiality Like other IATA agreements: It is a multilateral agreement – not a negotiation It must be signed by somebody with proper authority Attachments include info that must be returned – such as initial designated super user The agreement is being reviewed by SIS SG and ACH Release early June 2011 (*) (*) Please note that all participants migrating to SIS will need to sign and return the SIS participation agreement to IATA. This agreement will govern access to the Integrated Settlement platform and enable viewing, editing, or loading of company data (no charge until SIS Go-live) and upload/download of invoice data (uploading is charged). SIS P3 – Nairobi Workshop – Migration and More

  14. Member Profile Updates Your profile needs to be completed before go-live – even if you don’t plan to migrate to SIS immediately Your profile identifies you to migrated participants that will be billing you (location information, contact users, etc.) and what types of files you’ll receive from IS Some information will be pre-populated for you from ICH, ACH, and RA databases Member codes, legal names, clearing house statuses, contacts (RA, ICH, ACH) All data will have to be either validated or completed by you The Sandbox environment will be released to you for updating your member profile After signup (agreement completed) and before go-live (before end of September 2011). SIS P3 – Nairobi Workshop – Migration and More

  15. Sandbox and Certification General - A Sandbox platform will be made available to all IS Members for testing your files Sandbox testing and Certification testing is ONE and the same process now You will be able to upload IS format files (IS-IDEC and IS-XML) without any restriction on the number of files No costs, unless you need support Data is deleted as soon as the output reports are generated – hence you can use the same transactions for re-submission after your system has been corrected Sandbox does not include any IS-WEB activity / review Sandbox will be available August 2011 onwards for those that will have signed the IS Participation Agreement and will have set up their profile SIS P3 – Nairobi Workshop – Migration and More

  16. Sandbox and Certification contd. Input Files – IS-IDEC or IS-XML Pre-defined and different file names for Sandbox and Certification Process – SIS will validate your input file (IS-Validation) and Will also check if “minimum certification” requirements * are met Output IS-Validation report Certification report (minimum certification requirements met or not)This report is also created even if a “sandbox” file is sent * Details to be provided in the sign-up guide document SIS P3 – Nairobi Workshop – Migration and More

  17. Sandbox and Certification contd. Certification – To submit files (IS-IDEC or IS-XML) for a certain billing category into SIS - live you will need to pass a “test” The process for sandbox and certification remains the same as mentioned before The only difference is that you will need to name* your file accordingly if you want to run it through the certification test process You will be certified if validation is passed successfully. IS Operations will receive the same output report as you and they will update the member profile certification area * Details to be provided in the sign-up guide document SIS P3 – Nairobi Workshop – Migration and More

  18. Sandbox and Certification contd. You will then be able to start sending in your files for that billing category into SIS – live Certification will not be required if you are using IS-WEB for submitting manual invoices It is to be noted that the Sandbox environment will have a black-out period of 1 week before SIS goes live. SIS P3 – Nairobi Workshop – Migration and More

  19. Connectivity Testing System connection to IS needs to be established for IS files (IS-IDEC, IS-XML) if the ftpes protocol is being used for file transfer before. It will involve sending a test file to the IS ftp server to validate that the communication is working correctly You will be able to start testing for connectivity mid-Aug 2011. You will not need to go through connectivity testing if you are using iiNet * or IS Web to upload or download files No participation agreement  No connectivity testing * We are currently in the process of analyzing the usage of iiNet as a transfer mechanism for SIS.
