  2. Our first question • How do we ensure that the various citizen participation mechanisms influence the availability of public services?

  3. Getting in love with citizen participation • Participation and deliberation had just become in imperatives of public policies (Blondiaux et al., 2002). • Citizen participation leads to more acurrate decisions, services adjusted to real needs and permanent citizen interest (Stocker, 2005).

  4. Design policites FOR the citizens. Design policies WITH the citizens. How to keep in love?

  5. Citizens Civil Society A relationship between… who? State • Nothing about us, without us! • Public space it’s bigger than just the gov.
