  4. Men in war MEN TO WAR • Three types of corps • Chugacamaya= 10 men to war. • HatunApu=50 men • PichuChungacamayoc=5,000 men • Divide and Conquer=main strategy • Fought alone and fought together

  5. Inca weaponry INCA WEAPONRY • Bronze or bone-tipped spears • Two-handed wooden swords • Clubs with stone and spiked metal heads • Woolen slings and stones • Stone or copper headed battle-axes

  6. BATTLE BATTLE • First battle=Battle of Puná • Spanish horsemen =lead • Traditional form of battle =Andes • A kind of blockade warfare
