  2. Agenda 1/3/13 • Multiple Choice Practice Test -60 minutes • You will find your answer sheet and the test on your desk. Complete the questions by the lunch bell-60 minutes • For those of you who already took the first half, finish the test the first 30 min. (I will tell you time) and use the remaining 30 min. for independent study (you can read C & P)

  3. After Lunch… • Saturday January 5th Mock Exam • Be here at the school at 7:45! We want to start as close to 8:00 as possible; the earlier we start, the earlier we get out! • Songs in the Key of AP project • In pairs, pick a song pair • Presentations Jan. 15th , 17th and 22nd • Part II of C&P read by Mon. Jan. 7th • Post it annotations Chpt. 1-7 • Socratic Seminar Parts I&II: Be prepared!! • Part III & IV read by Thurs. Jan. 17th

Agenda 1/7/13 • Journal response- C & P • Socratic Seminar – Part I & II • Outside circle evaluates inner circle • Consider: • Questions asked (higher level analysis?) • Answers/textual support (specific, interpretive, depth) • For each student in seminar, write comments and final grade: A 90-100; B 80-89; C 70-79; D 60-69; F 59 and below

  5. C & P Journal Response • Describe in detail Raskolnikov’s conversation with Zametov. Explain the significance of this exchange. • What surprise does Raskolnikov receive at the end of Part II? What does his reaction to this surprise say about his current mental state?
