  5. Who Is Using ResiTrak? • 1,300 enrolled residents • 500 residency programs • 400 Sites • All 50 states plus Washington DC and Puerto Rico • 5,000+ users • ~10,000 evaluations completed to date

Evaluations Preceptors Formative – ongoing feedback (written, verbal, may include snapshots,etc.) Summative – at the end of the experience Self- Evaluations - must give Resident opportunities to learn Residents Preceptor & Learning Experience Self Evaluation Residency Program Directors Customized Plan (initial assessment, update quarterly, reviewing residents progress) Review of Summative Evaluations & Residents evaluations Review entire Program & Preceptors Development End of Year completion by Resident

  10. ResiTrak and Accreditation If I am using ResiTrak, do I meet the standard? Does ASHP or surveyors have access to ResiTrak? Do I have to submit evaluations on the Pre-Survey Self Assessment if I use ResiTrak? Will ResiTrak include the pre-survey self–assessment tool required before an accreditation site visit?

  13. ResiTrak Roles • RPD – Residency Program Director • Only one. Responsible for the entire program. Does customized training plan. Does final co-signatures on residency evaluations. • Preceptor • Responsible for a learning experience. Can have more than 1 for a learning experience. Does the evaluations for that learning experience. If you have more than one, they all get the tasks. • Resident • A PGY2 resident can also be a preceptor for a PGY1 program

  14. Additional Roles • Site Setup • “Super User” account. Has access to all resident’s information and all programs • Residency Administrator • Read-only role for a given residency

  17. Evaluations • 5 Types • Summative (based on goals and objectives) • Snapshot (based on criteria for an objective) • Preceptor • Learning Experience • Custom Required at the end of each learning experience

  18. How to Get Evaluations • Add to a learning experience setup. When resident is scheduled for that learning experience, they will get those evaluations • You can also generate a new evaluation by the “Generate Evaluation” function on the preceptor menu. Note: If you use the Generate Evaluation function, any scheduled evaluations As part of the Learning Experience will still be delivered by ResiTrak.

  22. Common Questions and Issues • I forgot my password. How do I get it? • I’m not getting any e-mail from ResiTrak. What do I do? • How do I do Quarterly Evaluations? • We have multiple preceptors on a learning experience. Who does the evaluation? • How do I edit an evaluation? • We use an alternate RPD/Primary Preceptor/ Mentor arrangement for our residents. How do we do that?

What’s Coming? • Changes to the summative evaluations • Additional evaluation of the goal in addition to the objectives • Achieved for residency flag moved to the goal instead of the objectives • If a goal has been achieved for the residency, evaluating it in future summatives will be optional • Resident closeout and graduate tracking • Entering Interests
