Recommendations • PTKs (compliment standard testing) • Cluster model with signposting • Network coverage – target remote & rural, low test rate areas • Formally designate a chlamydia testing programme co-ordinator • Restrict PTKs 16-24 years • Develop age specific marketing materials attractive to young men

  7. Recommendations • Invite all GP and Pharmacy pilot sites to continue • Invite all non participating pharmacies and GPs to note interest and match provision for final network of PTK test locations • Update PTKs with request forms + patient advice slip to reflect dual NAAT testing • Adopt centralised positive result notification, choice of treatment location & PN as for pilot (negative results??) • Encourage pharmacy sites for partner treatment & testing, in addition to GP,GUM, SRH (success in English programme)
