  6. What is the Internet? • A large group of computers that are linked together • Millions of computers connected to networks across 200 countries. • Used to Communicate with people all around the world.

  7. IP Address • Every device that connects to the internet has an address. • Internet Protocol Address: Ex/ 123.45.67.890 • Location Tracking, Wireless Printers

  8. URL • The address of a website. • Ex: http://www.google.com

  9. Download • To copy a file from a server to the computer via the internet. Upload • To send information from your computer to another computer.

  10. Typing Review Open a blank Word Document Place your fingers on the home row. Listen for typing Instructions
