Typical Cooperation Activities in the last three years, 2011-2013 【2011FY】 27th APMP General Assembly, Dec. 4-9, 2011, Kobe, Japan. • 421 participants from 90 organizations of 33 economies • symposium on “Nanotechnology and Material Metrology” 【2012FY】 APMP-DEC workshop on “ temperature measurement for precise dimensional metrology”, Oct. 2012, Thailand. • Supported by NIMT & NMIJ staff in length and thermometry sections • 14 trainees joined from 8 countries 【2013FY】 CMM seminar , Aug. 22-23, 2013, Thailand • More than 270 participants from 12 countries • Open for related-business representatives in manufacturing and examination fields • Organized by NIMT and NMIJ

JICA/NIMTProject • NIMT、National Institute of Metrology (Thailand)was established in June, 1998 • The Japanese government launched the JICA/NIMT Project (2002-2008) under the supports of JBIC and JICA upon the Thai government’s request • 42 quantities of technical transfers were completed for the establishment and dissemination of the standards and also calibration procedures by NMIJ and some other Japanese organizations such as JEMIC, JQA, CERI and NITE. completed the new building in 2005 and ceremony held in2006

  10. “CMM Seminar” organized by NIMT and NMIJ in co-operation with JICA August 22-23, 2013 in Pathumthani, Thailand • NMIJ-NIMT collaboration on transfer of accurate measuring technology and training of measurement experts • Designed for three-dimensional coordinate measurement system users and related-business representatives in manufacturing and examination fields. More than 270 participants from 12 countries joined the seminar. Business exhibitions were opened.
