2. How It All Started One day, a group of travelers going through Treegap stopped for a drink rom an underground spring that bubble up from a tree. The carved a T on the tree, because their last name was Tuck. Then they went on with their lives. They noticed something strange. They never grew. They couldn’t get hurt, in fact they could not die. Even Tuck (Dad/husband)shot himself in the head to test this out.

3. Winnie’s Discovery Young Winnie Foster, owner of the famous wood in Treegap, is getting tired of her life at home. There are too many rules for her to follow. She decides to run away, and even tells this to her strange “pet” and only friend, which happens to be a toad. As she is walking through the woods, she sees a young boy drinking from a spring coming from the base of a tree. When she tries to drink the water, the boy prevents her from doing so, and his family comes and takes Winnie away.

4. Winnies Capture As Winnie leans down to drink, the boy’s family swoops down and throw her on to the horse and carry her to there house. Their they explain that weren’t trying to hurt or scare Winnie. They tell her there story about how the spring grants any drinker immortality. They explain if it falls into the wrong hands, the world would fall into chaos. They tell her they will take her home the next day. They then introduce themselves and give her a place to sleep.

5. The Tuck Family Jesse- the youngest, drank the water when he was still a teenager Miles-the oldest, drank the water when he was and early adult Angus and Mae- the father and mother, they both drank the water when they were middle aged people.

6. The Man In the Yellow Suit Back at Treegap, a man in a yellow suit plots to bring back Winnie with the help of the town constable. In return, he will be granted the forest, which has the magic spring in it. He plans on selling the water for major amounts of money. He will then put the Tucks in a show, as proof of the spring’s powers.

7. Mae’s Mistake Part One When the Man in the Yellow Suit comes to bring Winnie home and begin his master plan, the family refuses. He reveals his master plan, then when the Tucks refuse to be in the show, the Man in the Yellow Suit says, "children are more appealing anyways. Once Winifred drinks the water, she’ll be in it,”. This enrages Mae, and just as The Man in the Yellow Suit is heading out the door with Winnie, mea hits him in the head with the stock of Tuck’s shotgun.

8. Mae’s Mistake Part Two The Treegap constable comes to the house right on time to see her do this. Mae tells him the Man in the Yellow Suit was taking Winnie away against her will. Winnie sides with Mae, and this confuses the constable. The constable tells Mae if the Man in the Yellow Suit dies, she will go to the gallows (hanging). Mae’s secret would be revealed if he lives or dies. Because if she was hung, she would not die.

9. Escape Winnie is returned home andthe man in the Yellow Suit dies. Mae awaits her execution in the town jail. Jesse comes to visit Winnie and says that he, Miles, and Angus plan to break Mae out. Winnie says that if they get Mae out, she can take Mae’s place. Jesse agrees and gives Winnie a bottle of water from the spring, and tells her to drink it when she turns seventeen.

10. The End The plan ends up going as expected. Everything except Winnie drinking the water. Years later, the Tuck family returns to Treegap and finds that Winnie has been dead for two years. The family continues to live on for eternity.
