  1. Direct Stress Isometric • Direct Stress Isometric from TRIFLEX® Windows • Any Output can be added to the Isometric: • (Just a Few Shown Below) • Piping System Geometry • System Forces and Moments • Restraint Forces and Moments • Anchor Forces and Moments • System Stresses • Maximum System Value • Piping System Movements

  2. The Output Table can be selected: Select from the available Output Reports One by one Check / UnCheck ALL

  3. Using TRIFLEX®Windows version 2.6.1 or greater Make sure this view is the way you want to view it in a DXF file. Rotating while in a DXF file can cause the USER to be unable to view the Node Points and Dimensions.

  4. Use the Pull Down menus Utilities, Export Files, 3D DXF

  5. Save your DXF file with an appropriate name Name your DXF file.

  6. Now fill in the Dialog Box to request the Analysis Output to be on your Isometric Default Size for Node Number Font Size is 0.125 Default Size for Node Dimension Font Size is 0.125 Default Size for Report Data Font Size is 0.08

  7. Here I filled in the Dialog Box and requested All Outputs Report Font Size can be increased to Users needs. Selected ALL Reports OR the ones you want to save on the DXF file. Each Report will be placed in a different layer of your DXF file.

  8. TRIFLEX successfully Exported the Isometric View to a DXF file to open in AutoCAD

  9. Now open AutoCAD or your DXF viewer. And pull up your DXF file you just saved. Now open AutoCAD or your DXF viewer.

  10. After pulling up your file you may need to center the Isometric view in AutoCAD

  11. Now you need to turn ON the layer in AutoCAD with the output you want to show on the Isometric Click the Light bulb in the ON column Format, Layer

  12. Note how the new Isometric is shown along with the table of information you requested Your request was for the Restraint Forces and Moments

  13. Full preview your Isometric. Here we are Plotting an 8-1/2” x 11” Plot.

  14. Full preview your Isometric. Here we are Plotting an 11” x 17” Plot.

  15. Now some review on your TRIFLEX®Windows settings. Default Size for Node Number Font Size is 0.125 Default Size for Node Dimension Font Size is 0.125 Default Size for Report Data Font Size is 0.08 We chose 0.24, creating a larger table for the Isometric. Selected ALL Reports You can then decide which Report you want by selecting the correct Layer in AutoCAD.
