  1. Hunting Geometry Geometry

  2. line-lines are something that go on forever.

  3. Line segment- piece of a line

  4. Right angle- it is 90 degrees

  5. Square- all sides are congruent.

  6. Point. A point is to mark a place on a line.

  7. Ray- go on forever in one direction.

  8. Pentagon- a polygon that has five sides

  9. Octagon- a polygon with 8 sides

  10. Hexagon-a polygon with 6 sides

  11. Obtuse angle. Bigger than 9o degrees.

  12. Cylinder- A solid figure with two congruent circular bases.

  13. Sphere – a solid figure that include all points the same distance from the center

  14. Square Pyramid- has a square base with 4 triangular sides

  15. Trapezoid- A quadrilateral with only one pair of parallel sides.

  16. triangle- a polygon with 3 sides

  17. Intersecting lines –lines that cross at one point

  18. Perpendicular lines-two intersecting lines that form a right angle.

  19. Parallel lines-lines that never cross

  20. Circle-a closed plane figure in which all there points are the same distance from a point called the center

  21. Rectangle-a quadrilateral with four right angles.

  22. acute angle –smaller than 90 degrees

  23. Cube-a solid figure with six congruent squares as faces.

  24. Rectangular prism- a 3D shape with rectangular sides

  25. Rhombus-opposite sides are parallel

  26. Pyramid – a triangle base with 3 triangular sides

  27. Cone-a 3D shape with a circular base

  28. Parallelogram-a quadrilateral in which opposite sides are parallel.
